Ph.D. Oscar Bastidas
Oscar is an Electronic Engineer and PhD in Engineering with more than 5 years of experience in the formulation, research and implementation of AI projects in different sectors.
His doctoral thesis, recognized with the highest distinction (Cum Laude), explored the prediction of physical activity adherence in fitness apps and food safety in gluten intolerance.
Oscar has worked in several companies, starting at TaIO Systems as a software engineer. Later, he joined the eVida research group at the University of Deusto, where he worked on the application of AI in the healthcare sector. He works at Qcentroid as an AI researcher , developing and integrating AI tools for the QCentroid platform. In parallel, at OptiNAR, Oscar is committed to offering services to optimize business management.
MS. Manuela Chacón
Manuela is an Electronic Engineer with a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics and is currently a PhD student in Engineering. She has a solid experience in the formulation and coordination of techno-science based projects, especially in the context of the Colombian system, including projects for MinCiencias and local development. Her master's degree focused on the theoretical study of residual neural networks, proposing a mathematical method to address the problem of overfitting, work that was rated with meritorious distinction.
Manuela worked as a Development Engineer at ISWO SAS, where she participated in management and quality processes to optimize business efficiency. Currently, she develops multi-agent AI systems and is pursuing her PhD with the support of Google DeepMind, focusing on resilience and cooperative behavior in complex systems. His background combines a strong theoretical background with experience in implementing and coordinating innovative solutions in artificial intelligence.
